ABSTRACT:

Instructional supervision is a vital aspect of educational leadership, focused on enhancing teaching effectiveness and increasing student outcomes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of teachers, the degree of instructional supervision, and the connection between the two. Using both descriptive and correlational research design, the study sampled 166 teachers from the three large schools in the first legislative district of Cagayan de Oro City and a validated two-part questionnaire to collect data was utilized. Statistical tools like Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient were used. The findings showed that both the teachers’ efficacy and the level of instructional supervision were quite high. Teachers' efficacy and instructional supervision were shown to be significantly, though weak, correlated. It can be concluded that instructional supervision can empower teachers, improve classroom practices and ultimately enhance students’ outcome. Thus, recommendations may include sustaining high-quality of instructional supervision, addressing gaps in instructional services, and providing tailored support and resources to teachers that they may maintain teachers’ efficacy.
